Detailed Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Timbavati
Guests are met at O.R. Tambo and transferred onto a flight for the Timbavati Nature Reserve which shares a common unfenced border with the Kruger National Park. Animals are allowed free range and guests are ensured the opportunity to view the greatest diversity of wildlife that Africa has to offer. Guests will be met and transferred to Gomo Gomo Game Lodge, a bushveld retreat that allows you the freedom to plan your own activities, and unwind from the pace of day-to-day living. Guests can enjoy the peaceful bushveld surroundings of Gomo Gomo Game Lodge where bird watching is magnificent with various Eagles, Owls, Francolins, Kingfishers, Rollers and Weavers are among the over 300 recorded species. An evening game drive will be conducted by an experienced ranger and dinner will be enjoyed under the starry African skies.

Day 2 & 3: Timbavati
Guests will enjoy two game drives and a bush walk each day. The early morning drive will allow guests to witness the waking of the African bush, while the evening drive gives guests an excellent possibility of coming face to face with the 'Big Five' (Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant and Rhino)

Day 4 & 5: Sabi Sand
After the sunrise drive and breakfast, guests will be transported to Arathusa Safari Lodge in the Sabi Sand Nature Reserve. Here again guests will enjoy two game drives and a game walk per day. The Sabi Sand Reserve has breathtaking scenery, a rich variety of plant and animal species and amazing wildlife encounters. Arathusa overlooks a beautiful dam which attracts plenty of wildlife, allowing you to relax on the deck and watch the animals come to the water to drink. The lodge has an open plan design with stunning living areas, a rim-flow pool to cool off from the harsh African sun and a traditional boma (open-air dining area) where you will enjoy your evening meals. |

Day 6: Departure
After your last drive tracking the "Big 5", breakfast will be served. Guests will then be transported to the airport and flown to O.R. Tambo Johannesburg. The peace and tranquility, untouched and unforgettable Africa you experienced will remain with you as you travel home.
