Detailed Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Aquila
Guests will be met at at Cape Town International Airport. Guests will be driven for just under a two hour scenic drive via the N1 from Cape Town to the Aquila Private Game Reserve and Safari Lodge. It is named after the rare and endangered Black Eagle that thrives in the area. Here guests can enjoy the luxury accommodation with en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers, ceiling fans, fireplaces (perfect for the Cape winter) as well as mini-bars. Meals are prepared by an internationally acclaimed chef and traditional meals are offered as well as the standard fare. Big Five game viewing safaris at the 4-star Aquila Private Game Reserve are given.

Day 2 & 3: Aquila
Guests will be taken on two Safari drives and a Safari walk each day. In Spring the Aquila Game Reserve bursts into a multi-coloured carpet of Karoo flowers. The rare and endangered Black Eagle thrives in the area. Guests can enjoy the tranquil surroundings cooling off in the saltwater pool, with rock finishes or lounge in the two public lounges, one situated at the Restaurant the other adjoining the Cigar Bar. Both have comfortable fully upholstered furniture and superb views .The Restaurant Lounge has a large feature fireplace and the Cigar Bar lounge has DSTV facilities.
