Detailed Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Drakensberg
Guests will be met at O.R. Tambo Airport Johannesburg and transferred by road to Montusi Lodge situated in one of South Africa's most spectacular settings, the Drakensberg in KwaZulu Natal. Montusi has an uninterrupted view of the Drakensberg's famous Amphitheatre escarpment. Guests can enjoy this spectacular scenery in the comfort of their private individual garden suites.

Day 2-4: Drakensberg
Three days will be spent exploring this magnificent area by hiking or horse riding trails. Trout fishing, golf, swimming and even trapezing can also be enjoyed. There are also guided tours to the surrounding tribal areas, all still authentic. Scenic drives through the mountains, San rock art and day visits to the battlefields of the Anglo Boer War lend a further dimension to the Drakensberg.

The restaurant is renowned for local cuisine and the bar and lounge are meeting places where guests can relax and share their experiences of the day.

Day 5-9: Balito
After a leisurely breakfast guests are driven through the scenic KZN mountainous countryside to Balito a cozy little seaside village on the KZN North Coast. Guests will be accommodated in the luxury retreat of the Boat House Lodge where guests can take a front seat in watching nature at play. This is a popular area for spotting the Bottle-nose dolphin feeding along the Dolphin Coast.

Four days are spent enjoying the attractions of this idyllic little resort. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking Salmon Bay before setting out for an activity-filled day at one of the nearby golf courses or just soaking up the sun next to the swimming pool. Use the direct access to the beach for lengthy strolls along the Dolphin Coast line, or simply watch the tide come in while sipping a sundowner from the bar at The Boathouse Guest House. Abundant patio areas at The Boathouse Guest House offer a superb view of Salmon Bay and dolphins playing in the waves.

Day 10: Departure Well rested and golden tanned guests are collected after breakfast and taken to Durban International Airport for their flight to O.R. Tambo International Johannesburg.
