Many say that San Camp is situated at the edge of the earth, because you can see the earth curve at the camp. San Camp is located on a grass-covered bay, overlooking the Makgadikgadi Pan, and is adjacent to the famous Makgadikgadi National Park in Botswana. Palm trees line the horizon and the endless flats of Makgadikgadi make the camp a very beautiful, secluded place.
Six white canvas tents are scattered around the camp. Bucket showers, flushing toilets, four poster beds and mosquito nets, crisp sheets and paraffin lamps combine luxury and the wildness of Africa, ensuring a comfortable stay. The tents are slightly elevated and the camp has a romantic atmosphere at night.

San Camp gives guests the opportunity to explore the Kalahari, Makgadikgadi National Park and the Makgadikgadi Pan's white, beach like landscape. Discover remote Archaeological sites on quad bikes while exploring the Makgadikgadi. Guests are guaranteed to be joined by the wild Meerkat and will be spoilt by the sighting of the rare Brown Hyena.

A delicious dinner is served, in the company of the camp's other guests, in a big mess tent. Guests can also take a guided walk with Bushmen Trackers or visit the ancient Baobab Trees. During the wet season, see the waterfowl and Flamingos descend on the shallow layer of warm water left on the pans, creating a colourful display. The rainy season also attract quite a lot of wildlife like buck and wildebeest, and along with them comes the predators. One can say that the flats wake up and come alive during the rainy season.
