Onguma Plains Camp is located in the Onguma Private Game Reserve which borders Fisher’s Pan, in the eastern section of Etosha National Park. Onguma Game Reserve consists of over 20 000 hectares. Plains game and predators alike, roam freely in these open spaces. In the summer time the rains and river systems create wetlands, a haven for bird species and wildlife. The Onguma Plains Camp is a luxury lodge which has some of the best sunsets in Namibia as well as panoramic views of the Etosha Pans. 

A beautiful fort with twelve suites, warmly welcomes guests to Onguma Plains Camp. Each suite is placed about 50m from the other, providing absolute privacy. The suites have an en suite bathroom with an indoor and an outside shower area. Attached to the suites are wooden decks leading to the outside seating area, with loungers and magnificent views. Onguma Plains Camp is decorated in an African theme, combined with a touch of Moroccan and Indian styles.

The Onguma Game Reserve can be explored on the daily game drives, and Etosha National Park’s waterholes are visited with an alternative nature drive. The various waterholes all over Onguma Game Reserve offer wonderful game viewing opportunities as well as photography opportunities. Dinners are served either under the stars in the outside dining area, around a lantern-lit pool or in the courtyard.
