Ongava Lodge is located in the Ongava Private Game Reserve adjacent to the Etosha National Park. The Park has fabulous sightings of animals like the Gemsbok, Lion, and Black and White Rhinos, to name but a few. The Etosha National Park  is also one of the few National Parks where both the Black and White Rhino can be seen. Ongava Reserve is located in the Southern Area of Etosha.

Fourteen en-suite chalets, made of rock and with thatched roofs, are the accommodation provided for the guests of Ongava Lodge. Take a bath in style, with views over the African wilderness, or take in the breath taking views of the Ongava Game Reserve from the chalet's private viewing deck.

Ongava Lodge is situated close to the top of a hill, providing spectacular views of the valleys below. Guests can take in these views from the lounge, dining and pub areas. Sumptuous dinners are served in the main dining area, under thatch with views over the waterhole. Another of the dining options is under the stars on the wooden deck, which adds to the wonderful atmosphere of this Etosha Safari.

In the Okaukuejo area of the Etosha National Park, guests enjoy a daily 4 x 4 game drive in the morning and the late afternoon. Guided walks which are conducted in the Ongava Game Reserve may also be enjoyed in addition to the open 4X4 safari drives. Guests can also visit the hides, from where the rich bird life in the area can be enjoyed. Excursions to Etosha National Park with a picnic, is also an option, depending on the availability of vehicles.
