Notten’s Bush Camp is a luxury lodge, situated in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. The Camp is bordered by Mala Mala and Sabi Sabi. Due to the unfenced border the Sabi Sand Game Reserve shares with the Kruger National Park, animals are free to roam the Reserve and sightings are abundant. Notten’s Bush Camp assures guests of the opportunity to view a great diversity of these animals. Nottens Bush Camp has a waterhole to attract wildlife during the dry season.
There are seven double, open plan, suites to accommodate guests of Notten’s Bush Camp. All the suites are en-suite and have both an inside and outside bush shower. Guests can unwind on their own private wooden deck, overlooking the bushveld. Each suite has an overhead fan to keep the room cool and insect screens on all the sliding doors and windows.
Notten’s Bush Camp has no electricity. The Camp relies on candles and paraffin lamps, creating a warm, romantic atmosphere. Facilities are provided for those who need to recharge their camera batteries. An open log fire in the Boma welcomes guests for dinner. A sumptuous meal is enjoyed under the starry skies while listening to the night life. Breakfast and lunch is served in an open plan lounge and dining room. The room leads onto a wooden deck overlooking the waterhole. An indoor lounge with a fully stocked bar allows guests to relax in their free time, with their favourite drink in hand. Guests can enjoy a massage in the privacy of their suite or in the Nature Spa. As an alternative guests can cool off, on warm days, in the sparkling pool.
Notten’s Bush Camp offers two open 4 x 4 game drives per day. Enjoy the sunset during the trip as well as sundowners, and then enjoy viewing the nocturnal animals by spotlight in the night. A bush walk is another way to get close to nature and view everything Africa has to offer on foot. |
