In the heart of the Okavango Delta is the Moremi Wildlife Reserve. The reserve is the first to be conserved by tribal people, rather than colonial people. Forming part of the Moremi Wildlife reserve, and overlooking the Khwai River floodplain's, is the Khwai River Lodge, a luxury Okavango Safari Lodge.
Khwai River Lodge’s luxury tents are constructed on raised wooden platforms and have large private decks. Guests can laze around on the easy chairs or in a hammock, provided on their private deck, watching the wildlife as it passes by. All luxury tents are en-suite and have air-conditioning. A private suite also forms part of the luxury accommodation at Khwai River Lodge. This suite has an extended viewing deck, with two sun loungers and a private plunge pool. The suite also includes a private vehicle and ranger, available to go on safari when ever guests' want.
This luxury Okavango Safari Lodge offers a heated swimming pool for guests to enjoy, when not on safari. Delicious cuisine is served in the covered dining room or in the privacy of your own suite. Relax in front of a blazing fire, in either an indoor or outdoor fire area. Star gazing is a must, with a telescope provided by the lodge.
