Inyati Lodge is located in the north western corner of the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve Inyati, means Buffalo, in the Shangaan language. This game reserve hosts the bearer of its name, the Buffalo and many other extraordinary animals, including the rest of the Big Five. Inyati Game Lodge is situated on the banks of the Sand River. Inyati Lodge has ten luxury chalets, of which there are eight standard en-suite chalets and two executive en-suite chalets. All the chalets are decorated in quality fabrics and rich earthy tones, giving guests a feel of the bushveld, incorporated with luxury. Mosquito nets and telephones are found in each chalet and it is air conditioned for guests' comfort. The chalets are very spacious with a separate lounge and dressing area. The Warthog Wallow, a fully licensed bar and lounge, serves the most delicious cocktails and offers guests the opportunity to relax with a drink. Enjoy a traditional African dance, while relaxing in front of a log fire under the star studded African Sky, or listen to bushveld stories told by your resident ranger. Breakfast and lunch is served on an open patio, while gazing upon the Sand River. A walk in the wine cellar is on offer Inyati Lodge, where guests can choose from a selection of South African and other wines to accompany their dinner. Just as you would expect from any game lodge, Inyati Lodge offers spectacular game viewing opportunities in an open Land Rover, accompanied by experienced rangers and trackers. As the lodge is situated on the banks of the river, game viewing can take place from the comfort of your chalet, but nothing beats getting up close to nature and experiencing the animals in the midst of the bush accompanied by your experienced ranger and tracker. |
