Elephant Plains is one of only a few budget Kruger Park Lodges situated in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. The Sabi Sand Game Reserve borders the Kruger National Park and has an abundance of game life. The Elephant Plains Lodge is situated on the banks of the dry Manyeleti riverbed. This Elephant Plains Lodge hosts a total of 24 guests in five colonial rondavels and six luxury open-plan glass fronted suites. The six luxury suites each have a lounge and en-suite bathroom. The suites also have their own viewing decks, overlooking the Manyeleti riverbed. A honeymoon suite is also provided at the lodge. The honeymoon suite features its own private splash pool and sala. Guests can sip a cocktail in the lodges' fully licensed bar, or cool off in the sparkling pool, while watching different game species passing by. A delicious dinner is served in front of a log fire in the Boma. Guests will enjoy a perfect atmosphere while listening to the night life in the distance. The lodge has an open-sided lapa, which is the central focus of the lodge, breakfast and lunch is served here. Elephant Plains Game Lodge has a wide selection of wines, in the wine cellar situated on the campgrounds. As an alternative, guests can relax in the library or shop for souvenirs in the curio shop. The local game rangers and trackers will take guests on a thrilling 4x4 game drive on and off the roads, in order to optimize game viewing. Begin your day with an early morning game drive, and then take part in a bush walk after breakfast. In the afternoon, another game drive is followed by sundowners in a selected venue in the bush, followed by a night drive with spotlights, to learn more about the nocturnal species. |
