Chobe Game Lodge is the only permanent lodge situated within the boundaries of the Chobe and is the ideal location from which to enjoy a luxury Chobe Safari. The lodge offers spectacular views of the Chobe River and its floodplain's, as it is built on the banks of the river. In the dry season herds of elephants and buffalo assemble on the river bank to play. The park is known as the park with the highest concentration of elephant in Africa.
All forty seven guest rooms face the river and guests can spot animals coming to the river while relaxing in the privacy of their own room on a luxury Chobe Safari. The rooms are en-suite, have air-conditioning and their own terrace to laze around looking over the river bed. Chobe Game Lodge also has four suites which overlook the spectacular river and floodplain's. A private plunge pool is the perfect place to relax. Alternatively unwind with your favorite book in the suites' luxury lounge.
Guests can cool off on warm summer days in the swimming pool or laze around on the raised wooden viewing decks. Book a private spa treatment in the comfort of your own suite and unwind with the aromas of herbs and essential oils. Enjoy a river cruise on the double-decker river cruiser, the Mosi-oa-Tunya, with a bar and snacks on board. Dinner is either served in the riverside boma in front of a warm fire, or if weather permits at the terrace restaurant, that offers magnificent views of the Chobe River. Star gazing is hosted by professional guides and environmentalists on the lodge’s star gazing deck.
