Camp Okavango is set in the heart of the Okavango Delta. The Delta is characterized by unspoilt wilderness and lakes; the Okavango Delta is one of the most spectacular wildlife areas in Africa and one of the most popular Botswana Safari destinations. The area is rich in game and bird species with the habitat consisting of palm trees, savannah grassland and forest glades. Camp Okavango is situated in the middle of the Okavango Delta and is surrounded by floodplain's and channel systems.

Only 24 guests at a time can be accommodated in the African styled tents with glass sliding doors at Camp Okavango. With each room facing the Okavango Forest, relaxing on the room's private deck is a favourite past time at Camp Okavango. Each room is raised from the ground with a teak platform and elevated pathways connect the rooms to the main lodge. For a more romantic Botswana Safari experience, guests can stay in the camp's suite. The suite’s deck offers spectacular views of the Papyrus lined channel and forest islands.

Two game activities are included daily at Camp Okavango. Experience the Okavango Delta with a boat cruise in eco-friendly canoes or on a motorboat and be surrounded by water. Alternatively join an experienced guide on a game drive or take a nature walk on one of the many islands, in order to track down some of the larger species of wildlife. The opportunities for bird watching are outstanding and the camp also offers fishing as a pastime.

Shaded by giant Mangosteen trees, guests can enjoy a cocktail at the cocktail bar or relax in the lounge with a reference book taken from the lodges' library. The dining room is extended onto a patio for dining under the stars and in front of a crackling log fire. You can also enjoy a swim in the plunge pool or visit the secluded bird hide.
