Camp Moremi is located in the eastern segment of the impressive Okavango Delta of Botswana in the Moremi Wildlife Game Reserve. The Game Reserve was named after Chief Moremi of the Ba Tawana tribe. Camp Moremi lies in the Xakanaxa area of the Moremi Game Reserve. A diversity of habitats which include Mopane woodland and Acacia forest is evident when on a Safari in this area. Floodplain's and lagoons ensure that the area is one of the most spectacular areas in Africa. Camp Moremi brings its guests closer to the feel of Africa, with East African-style tents raised on wooden platforms provides accommodation.The camp can host 22 guests in its luxury tents. Time can be spent on the tent's own private viewing deck watching Africa come alive. Each tent has its own facilities, ensuring guests' privacy. A warm welcome and excellent service is guaranteed at Camp Moremi. The main lodge is surrounded by a wooden deck, overlooking the tranquil lagoon and the wildlife enjoying the cool water. In the middle of a beautiful garden is a boma were sumptuous breakfasts are served. Enjoy most meals in the elegant dining room, or for a more romantic meal, take a lovely prepared picnic to one or the many nearby islands and enjoy some intimate time alone and secluded. A swimming pool keeps guests cool on hot summer days. A library and cocktail bar are also provided for guests' convenience. The best part of the day is, of course, the game drives. Two 4x4 game drives are conducted each day, exploring the Moremi Game Reserve. Other activities, mostly water based, include a safari conducted in a dugout canoe or mokoro, or take a faster passed view of the surrounds by motorboat on the Boro River, mostly held in the afternoons with sundowners included.
