Bakubung , "meaning people of the Hippo" Bush Lodge, is found in the malaria-free Pilanesberg Game Reserve. The reserve is situated next to the famous Sun City Casino Resort and is one of the lodges in the area from which a Pilanesberg Safari can be enjoyed. Pilanesberg is one of the largest Parks in South Africa and is set in a crater created by an extinct volcano. In the center of the park is a large lake where one can enjoy the peace of the wilderness while game come to the water to play and quench their thirst.
The lodge is perfect for families and consists of 76 thatched rood studio rooms and 66 time-share chalets surrounding the entertainment area in a horse shoe shape. All rooms are en-suite and are equipped with satellite television and electric points.
