Mala Mala Main Camp offers unsurpassed views of the Kruger National Park which is located to its east. The camp is located in the Mala Mala Private Reserve. This reserve is the largest privately owned Big Five reserve in South Africa and it is arguably the finest game viewing area in South Africa and even on the African continent. Mala Mala is the birth place of sustainable eco tourism in South Africa and offers one of the finest authentic safari experiences in the country.

Mala Mala Main Camp consists of 8 luxury thatched suites and 10 luxury thatched rooms.  Each of the individually decorated rooms, feature sets of animal and bird prints and each has its own ‘his’ and ‘hers’ bathroom and direct telephone lines.  Comfort is not an issue as the rooms are provided with 24 hour temperature control, a mini bar, mini safe, large twin or king beds and tea and coffee making facilities.

In the shade of an ancient Jackalberry Tree, a large wooden deck can be found, from which it is possible to observe game and bird life as they approach the river for a drink. An air-conditioned dining room, the buffalo lounge, is where breakfast and lunch is served. At Mala Mala, dinner is announced with the beating of drums and is served around a log fire with the night life echoing in the distance. Enjoy some lovely venison specialities and delectable cuisine, prepared the African way together with an outstanding selection of local and international wines.

At Mala Mala Main Camp internet connectivity is provided in the library.
