Gomo Gomo Game Lodge is set on the unfenced border of the Kruger National Park in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. The reserve is well known for its diversity of game and habitats and used to be home to the White Lion. Due to its rarity, the White Lion is now removed from its natural habitat to be protected. The lodge is situated on the banks of the Nhlaralumi River.
Gomo Gomo Game Lodge has five thatched chalets and four East-African Style tents and can accommodate up to eighteen guests. All accommodation is en-suite and is provided with bedside lamps, fans and power points. At night paraffin lamps are lit in the camp creating a romantic, peaceful atmosphere. The Chalets and tents are surrounded by beautiful, big Jackalberry and Leadwood trees keeping the site shaded during the hot summer days.
Relax on the big viewing deck while sipping a cocktail in the shade of an old Leadwood tree. The deck has a perfect view of the river and ensures that you won’t miss any activity near the water. Breakfast and lunch are served on the deck under an open thatched roof lapa. Enjoy dinner in front of an open log fire in the boma. A peaceful atmosphere is created by the crackling sounds of the fire and guests can hear the night life silently whispering in the background. A large plunge pool is available to cool off in.
