Exeter River Lodge is set under ancient trees in the north western corner of the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. All of the suites are built facing the sand river which attracts a multitude of animals great and small even in the rainy season. A stay at Exeter River Lodge is one of the ultimate luxury lodge experiences provided in the Greater Kruger National Park. The lodge consists of eight suites, under thatch. Each suite has its own private viewing deck and plunge pool as well as an outdoor shower. The suites are air conditioned and offer large bathrooms with separate shower and bath. The level of accommodation provided at Exeter River Lodge is world class and it could be considered amongst the finest lodges located in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. The guest areas at River Lodge are spacious and tastefully decorated. All guest areas overlook the sand river. This affords the opportunity of relaxing with a book or enjoying breakfast in a location where the ever present movement of animals is sure to enhance your dining or relaxing experiences. Sumptuous cuisine, suiting all culinary tastes is prepared by the lodge's executive chef and can be enjoyed in the Boma, the dining room or even in the bush. Two open 4X4 game drives are conducted daily at Exeter River Lodge. These safari experiences are led by experienced local rangers and trackers and could afford the opportunity of sighting one of Africa’s legendary Big Five. |
