Entabeni Ravineside Lodge is located in the upper Escarpment of the malaria free Entabeni Private Game Reserve. The area boasts with five eco systems that consist of open grasslands surrounded by magnificent mountains, rock formations and lush bush. There are many waterfalls, springs, mountain pools and streams to be found in the vicinity of Entabeni Ravineside Lodge. This attracts a wide variety of game and birdlife. Entabeni Ravineside Lodge consists of six thatched roof, wooden lodges on stilts, providing perfect views of the beautiful surroundings. Each lodge has 3 or 4 en-suite rooms decorated in an African theme, to compliment the environment, without losing out on comfort and luxury. All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans, telephones, a mini safe and a mini bar. Each Game Lodge has a private open plan lounge and a bar area as well as an open sundeck, that overlook the ravine. Surrounded by fig trees, the pool is the perfect spot to relax and cool off in. Guests can choose their favourite spot to do game viewing as the lodge offers different sites, also enjoy a bush picnic at a selected sights, as an added bonus. Sites include the Hanglip Viewpoint, Boekenhout and Yellowwood picnic sites and the Hippo Boma. Partake in the game drives and walks to get the full experience of what the area has to offer. Dinner is served either in the Serengeti Restaurant or the Astro-Boma which is situated next to the pool, under the fig trees.
There are numerous activities on offer for young and old, such as a boat cruise, paint balling or a horse back safari. The group activity that is available includes tribal dancing, and the lodge also has conference facilities on offer, for the advent business men. There is also an award winning golf course nearby for those who wish to get in some practice during the holiday. |
