West Coast Tour - 3 Days (Code CT6)

The West coast tour is a short tour which departs from any location in Cape Town. The tour is private and can start on any date specified by clients. During spring, from late August to the middle of October the area is normally transformed into a colorful tapestry by wild flowers in bloom.
The tour visits some of the most notable regional attractions including the West Coast National Park, Cape Columbine and Paternoster. On the return journey to Cape Town a stop is made at a local winery where some of South Africa's finest can be sampled.
Tour Itinerary

Day 1: West Coast
Guests will be met at any location of their choice in Cape Town from where the tour makes its way up the West Coast. The West Coast is a region with a unique charm and character. It is sparsely populated and offers an experience far removed from the hustle and bustle of Cape Town. The region is characterized by sparse vegetation and harsh rocky beaches which line the shores of the Atlantic. The tour travels north to the town of Langebaan where the afternoon will be devoted to visiting the West Coast National Park. Here a rich diversity of bird species can be observed in great numbers. Over 250 species have been recorded in the area. After the rains in spring the area is transformed into a flowering tapestry, which creates a remarkable display. Following the visit to the West Coast National Park we make our way to the overnight destination.
