Zambezi Sun
|
The Zambezi Sun is situated on the edge of the eastern cataract of the Victoria Falls on the Zambian side. It is a building with warm, earthy architecture, inspired by an African walled village and decorated with Zambian artworks and accessories.
The Zambezi Sun offers 212 en-suite rooms and is a family friendly Hotel. The rooms are air conditioned, have room service and television. Cots are provided and babysitting services available, on request. Two rooms are equipped with paraplegic facilities. The rooms either face outwards towards the Lush green bush, or inwards towards the pool and garden area. Some rooms have a balcony and all the rooms have a choice between a queen, king or twin bed. The suites have a private verandah, separate lounge and dining room with a king-size bed in the bedroom. Dry-cleaning and laundry services are also avaible.
The restaurants at the Zambezi Sun offers scrumptious buffet breakfasts and dinners. There is a Poolside Grill and a Pool Deck Bar. At the Poolside Grill near the pool side, light lunches, alfresco style, are being served while the Pool Deck Bar provides delicious pre dinner drinks, sundowners or a night cap before going to bed. The Squires Grill offers a steakhouse menu for lunch or dinner whereas the Crocodile Café offers light meals and fresh sandwiches. Both are close to the Daily Activity Centre. At the pool area of the Zambezi Sun, guests can relax on the loungers in the shade of Acacia trees, while sipping on an ice cold cocktail, or cooling off in the sparkling pool. Guests have the opportunity of booking their activities either at guest relations or the Activity Centre of the Zambezi Sun. The area offers a variety of activities from relaxing to adrenaline pumping activities. The adventurous can go bungee jumping or taking on the waters with a full or half day white water rafting adventure or rather relax and enjoy the sunset with a relaxing sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. |
