St James of Knysna

The St James of Knysna is situated on the shores of the Knysna Lagoon and overlooks the impressive Knysna Heads.  Knysna is found on South Africa’s Garden Route and is situated between the lush forests and the blue waters of the lagoon.  The name Knysna is a Khoi word but it's uncertain what the exact meaning of the word is. It could mean 'place of wood', or it could mean 'fern leaves', but its most likely meaning is an obvious reference to the Heads.

The magnificent St James of Knysna hosts its guests in seventeen luxurious suites.  Twelve of these rooms are located around a courtyard with a swimming pool in the centre, the other rooms are located inside the manor house.  Most of the suites have spectacular views over the lagoon and all of them have an en-suite bathroom, spacious lounge, satellite television, a telephone, mini bar, safes and much more.  A second swimming pool is situated at the manor house of the St James of Knysna .
