Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge is located in the private NamibRand Nature Reserve, close to the Sossusvlei Dunes, and access is exclusive to guests of the lodge.

The NamibRand Nature Reserve extends over 180 000 hectares of breath taking desert wilderness, and is located on the eastern boundary of the Namib Naukluft Park. A typical stay will take guests on scenic drives, guided walks, excursions to Sossusvlei (claimed to be the highest dunes in the world!) & Sesriem Canyon.

There are ten spacious stone and glass villas, located at the foot of a mountain. All the villas are air-conditioned and decorated to incorporate the environment. Each villa has a private veranda, a split-level sitting area with a fire-place for the cold winter nights, star-viewing windows above the bed and en suite glass-encased bathrooms with indoor & outdoor showers.
