Satara Camp is situated in the Central Kruger National Park and is the third largest camp in the park. The camp consists of bungalows under thatch which are arranged in seven concentric circles, facing inwards, in protective laager fashion. Each bungalow has en suite facilities and is air conditioned. The units are serviced daily.

The camp restaurant leads onto rolling lawns with a view of a nearby watering hole. The watering hole is an oasis for plains game and many species can often be seen drinking from or wallowing in the water. There is also a grocery store situated in the camp.

Satara is considered to be the best camp for viewing lion, leopard and cheetah and sitting on the verandah of your hut at night, with flickering campfires all around you, will be a never-to-be-forgotten memory, even more so, should you hear the roar of the king of beasts in the distance.
