Located East from St. Lucia Wetlands Park, at the heart of a beautiful dry sand forest, is the Phinda Forest Lodge. With the creative fusing of design and conservation is each chalet built as eco-friendly structures, with limited or no disturbance of the surrounding forest. The Phinda Forest Lodge's sixteen raised glass-encased chalets have a bedroom, lounge and spacious en-suite bathroom with a bath and separate shower. Outside, wooden decks have been erected around the growing trees.  The unique structure is almost made up entirely out of glass. This affords you the luxury of feeling like you waking up in the middle of the forests with forest creatures scampering right outside your window.

Because the glass encased suits of the Phindi Forest Lodge is built on stilts, it appears to float between the rare Dry Sand Forest floor and the towering torchwood trees. They have been constructed to ensure total privacy in each of the chalets.
