|
The inspiration behind the Palace Hotel was derived from an old legend about an ancient North African civilization who had built a palace for their King, which was destroyed by an earthquake. From this legend, The Palace of the Lost City was derived. The Palace Hotel was built on the magnificent rolling hills of the Pilanesberg Mountains, which ensures beautiful scenery all around. The Palace Hotel is also conveniently situated next to the Pilanesberg National Park, which is known to be the third largest game park in South Africa.
The luxury 5-star Palace Hotel has 315 rooms and 16 suites of which 55 rooms are family rooms and the suites can also accommodate a family. The four big individually named suites is the epitome of luxury. Other than also featuring a Jacuzzi and sauna, the luxury suites also have two en-suite bathrooms, a guest’s powder room, a library, Butler’s pantry and balcony. The décor is elaborate with hand-carved walls, frescoed ceilings and custom designed items adorning the whole suite.
