Mount Sheba
|
The elegant Mount Sheba Country Lodge is situated in the historic town, Pilgrims Rest, in South Africa’s Mpumulanga Province. Placed amongst mountains, surrounded by indigenous forests, it offers spectacular views over the Mpumulanga Highlands. Mount Sheba Country Lodge is located close to Mpumulanaga’s fabulous tourist attractions, including the Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window and the Kruger National Park. Because of this location, it is not too unusual for guests to experience all four seasons in one day.
There are twenty five bedrooms at Mount Sheba Country Lodge, offering comfort and style combined with warm, friendly service. The twin suites are positioned in an arched formation and each suite has its own private lounge area down stairs. Upstairs is a loft with two single beds. In the lounge area provision is made for children to sleep over, with either a sleeper coach or single beds. The fourteen king suites have an open plan bedroom leading on to the lounge area whereas the executive suite has a separate open plan bar and lounge area and its own private patio. All suites are en-suite.
Scrumptious dinners are served in the Chandelier Restaurant whereas the “Potted Owl” is known for its appetizing drinks before or after dinner. Guests can visit the Blyde River Canyon, Gods window and many more tourist attractions in the surrounding area or otherwise they can choose to stay in the Mount Sheba Country Lodge, enjoying a lazy day around the swimming pool, go trout fishing or playing squash, tennis or table tennis. |
