Located in between Plettenberg Bay and Knysna in the heart of South Africa’s Garden Route is the Fynbos Ridge Country House. The Fynbos Ridge Country House is situated in a Private Nature Reserve and boasts 6 hectares of fynbos with magnificent views of the Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma mountains. Nature lovers will be enchanted by the beautiful fynbos, which attracts a wide variety of birds and butterflies. The Cape Dutch style Fynbos Ridge Country House has accommodation in five individually styled bedrooms. All these rooms are en-suite. The property also has three cottages, consisting of two bedrooms and one bedroom studio. The cottages have a separate lounge area with a fireplace including a fireplace in the main bedroom as well as a private patio. The cottages and studios are named after some of the indigenous flowers of the area, Crassula, Felicia, Plumbago, Polygala and Sparaxis. Guests can enjoy a delicious continental or buffet breakfast in the dining room, or order alfresco meals to be delivered to their room. All herbs and vegetables are freshly picked from the gardens, and the menu changes daily according to what is in season. They also deliver freshly cooked meals to the cottages and all meals are served with home baked bread. Alternatively guests can visit one of the superb restaurants in the area.
