Chobe Game Lodge - Botswana Safari Accommodation

Chobe Game Lodge is the only permanent lodge situated within the boundaries of the Chobe National Park and guests don’t have to enter or exit the park. The lodge offers spectacular views of the Chobe River and its floodplains as it is built on the banks of the river. In the dry season herds of elephants and buffalo assemble on the riverbank to play. The park is known for the highest number of elephants in Africa.

The Chobe Game Lodge has all forty-eight rooms, facing the river and guests can spot animals coming to the river while relaxing in the privacy of their own room. The rooms are en-suite, have air conditioning and their own terrace to laze around looking over the riverbed. The lodge also has four suites also overlooking the spectacular Chobe River and the Caprivi floodplains. A private plunge pool is the perfect way to relax in the privacy of your own suite. Alternatively unwind with your favorite book in the suites luxury lounge.

Guests can cool off on warm summer days in the Chobe Game Lodge's swimming pool or laze around on the raised wooden viewing decks. Book a private spa treatment in the comfort of your own suite and unwind with the aromas of herbs and essential oils. The Chobe Game Lodge offers river cruises on small boats or the double-decker river cruiser, the Mosi-oa-Tunya, with a bar and snacks on board. Another option, if you want to get even closer to nature, is to take a walking safari in the Kasane Forests. Dinner is either served in the riverside boma in front of a warm fire if the weather permits it, or at the terrace restaurant that offers magnificent views of the Chobe River. Professional guides and environmentalists accompany stargazing on the Chobe Game Lodge’s stargazing deck.
