Bakubung Bush Lodge is set in the tranquil heart of the Pilanesberg National Park, which is home to the gargantuan shapes of Africa's giants - elephants, rhino and buffalo. If you're fortunate, you may catch a glimpse of the stealthy leopard or lion, stately king of the bush. There are also over 360 different bird species to be seen, for the bird watching enthusiasts. This is wild country indeed, but without the risk of malaria.

Only a mere two hours drive from Johannesburg, the Bakubung Lodge offers early morning and late afternoon game drives into the Pilanesberg National Park. These are conducted with professional game rangers. The Pilanesberg National Park can also be accessed with private vehicles.

The Bakubung Lodge consists of air-conditioned, thatched roof rooms as well as chalets, which curve into a horseshoe around the outside entertainment areas.
